Maxine Ganer

C.P.A., M.B.A.



Maxine graduated at 20 years old from college and joined Arthur Andersen and Co. as a junior auditor in the small business audit division. After three years, she left to work for a small accounting firm to get more hands on experience. It was three years later, that she and Robert Ganer, her husband formed Ganer + Ganer. They have been working together ever since and continue to grow the firm. It has been a rewarding and interesting 40 years in accounting.

Professional Passion

Maxine loves her work and feels lucky that she wants to  work each day. It is not a chore but her passion. She enjoys working with people and strives each day to help each client save money with taxes and with their finances. She is always available to speak to any client. Her specialties include income tax preparation, audits, portfolio analysis, and business management.



BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College in 1974.

Masters of Business Administration (Taxation) from Baruch College, 1976.

Certified Public Accountant, 1976.

At the time Maxine became a CPA, she was one of the youngest women in NYS to ever get certified at 23 years old.
